Visiting Dad
“Storm Watch 2011!!!!” Watch out!! They might close the Grapevine, therefore, our plans changed, and we visited Dad today. Reminiscing is a favorite pastime for all of us. Aunt Lee, Doug’s Mom, and Dad hadn’t seen each other for quite some time, so it was nice to see them talking about old times and looking through old photo albums. So many memories. Time went by quickly, and soon it was time to head back home. It wasn’t raining, it was pouring all the way home. As we approached the top of the pass, at 4144 ft., the pounding rain turned quiet; it was snowing. It was so fun…at least it was for me. No one else was as excited as I was. Okay, I know I’m easily entertained.
