Ever since I was a little girl I remember loving sunsets. When I was about eight or nine, I asked my Great-Aunt Mary to paint one for me. I kept waiting for her to mail it to me from back East…so, ever since then I have been racing to the beach to beat the ever-changing light, hoping time would stand still until the traffic on the 710 and the Vincent St. Thomas Bridge thinned out. Sometimes I’ve been lucky, other times not so lucky. Taking portraits at sunset have always been a favorite activity….remember Sheri?….nearly 30 years ago. I guess it makes all the difference when you have a willing subject. Point Vicente Lighthouse.
