“Mommy, can you make me a sandwich?…pretty please…and can you add two kinds of pickles…and will you slice the tomatoes really thin…and can you smash the avocado on the bread…oh, yeah, may I have one piece of cheese, and salt and pepper…and mayonnaise?” “No problem, Honey.” Sandwich made, dishes washed and put away…just ready to turn off the light…”Mom, are you making turkey sandwiches?” “Yes, Son,” I said with a smile in my heart, “Would you like one?” I love being a mom…and a mommy.
