Villacorte Wedding
What can I say, except, I love shooting weddings. The lighting may be challenging at times, but each one is unique, from the time of day, to the weather, to the different lighting in the churches or receptions. It’s like a different event with the same theme, waiting for you capture the feel, the ambiance, the laughter, the joy, and the tears. When all is said and done, I ask myself, “Did I capture it all?” Most of the time, yes, and sometimes I think about the film days and how I couldn’t have captured all I do today.
Oscar and Nora have been married 50 years now. What a fantastic accomplishment! After getting to know this wonderful couple over the last 6 months, I can see why they have their great relationship. So much can be gleaned from happily married older couples, the respect they have for each other, the way they kid each other, the things they laugh at, even their common goals.
Their children and grandchildren helped to make this day special for them. They participated in all aspects of the wedding at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. Two grandchildren even sang and played the guitar at the reception. The flourist was spectacular (link to follow), and the room was beautiful at the Embassy Suites in Brea, CA.
What a beautiful day. I wish you happiness, health and love during your next 50 years. Thanks for allowing me to be part of this special day.
