Welcome to Joan Day Images blog. I am very excited to be part of the blogging world. I hope to share some of my life and get to know some of you.
I’m so excited that I don’t even know where to start. 
Steve and I at our 23rd anniversary party at PF Chang's, where Steve had the opportunity to cook with the Chefs and see what it was like behind the scenes. He had a great time!! They purchased this official PF Chang jacket, and had his name embroidered on it. He had a tour of the kitchen along with his Chinese cooking teacher, Wei-ling, from Downey Adult School.
James was so thoughtful and generous to order a special chef's jacket for Steve.
Steve learns where everything is in the kitchen before he starts wokin'.
- Jose takes his job very seriously. He’s a fantastic chef!
- Wei-ling, Steve’s teacher and friend, and her husband, Bock, were Steve’s surprise guests.
- Time to start cooking the entrees.
- James gives Wei-ling the grand tour.
- A chef in training.
- What a great group of people work at this restaurant at Shoreline Village in Long Beach, CA.

OMG, you two are so cute together! What a super idea, Joan. Steve (aka Wizard) was probably in Seventh Heaven. And I loved the idea that he was cooking and waiting on you for your anniversary. Way to go! 23 YEARS!
